Introduction of I.T.F. (國際跆拳道聯盟)
In 1966, the International Taekwon-Do Federation was established in Seoul, South Korea by our founder, General Choi Hong Hi. After half a century, the I.T.F is still rapidly expanding and absorbing different regions and countries to join the Taekwon -Do family. As a result, ITF has become an independent and international recognized organization.
Currently, ITF is under the presidency of Grand Master Choi Jung Hwa, son of our founder. Leading by president Choi’s, the development of ITF has been maturing ever since. Seminars and different training courses hosting in different countries promote the traditional Taekwon-Do to the world. Moreover, the international competitions held in different countries creating an opportunity for practitioners to share their technique and knowledge. Furthermore, it also provides a platform for cultural exchange and to promoting love and peace throughout the world of Taekwon-Do.

CHON- JI means
The legendary founder of Korea in the year of 2333 B.C
The pseudonym of the patriot Ahn Chang-Ho (1876-1938) who devoted himself to furthering the education of Korea and its independence movement.
The noted monk who introduced Buddhism to the Silla Dynasty in the year of 686 A.D.
The pseudonym of a great philosopher and scholar Yil (1536-1584) nicknamed the “Confucius of Korea”.
The patriot Ahn Joong-Gun who assassinated Hiro-Bumi Ito, the first Japanese governor-general of Korea. The 32 movements represent Mr. Ahn’s age.

ITF color belt is divided into 10 kup: white, yellow stripe, yellow, green stripe, green, blue stripe, blue, red stripe, red, black stripe
ITF Black Belt is divided into 9 Degree: First Degree, Second Degree and so on
Black belt: 13 years old or more, less than 13 years old (Children black belt)
I段 -> II段最少要18個月 II -> III , III -> IV , IV -> V 如此類推，跟段年資
I -> II at least 18 months, II -> III , III -> IV , IV -> V and so on, with the length of paragraphs
IV Degree may test the white belt to I Degree
V Degree may test the white belt to II Degree
VI Degree may test the white belt to III Degree
VII Degree may test the whit belt to IV ,V Degree and may be designated areas ITF-HQS Technical Executive examiners
VIII Degree may test the whit belt to VI Degree and may be designated areas ITF-HQS Technical Executive examiners

ITF黑帶的稱號(ITF Black belt title)
I 至 III 段：副師範 (Boo-Sabum)
I to III degree：Mr./Sir or Miss/Madam
IV 至 VI 段: 師範 (Sabum)
IV to VI degree : Mr./Sir or Miss/Madam
VII 至 VIII 段：師賢 (Sahyun)
VII to VIII degree：Master
IX 段：師聖 (Sasung)
ITF道袍區別(The difference between ITF uniform)
white to red-black belt : all white gowns
I to III Degree : Black stripes outlined at the bottom of the clothes
IV Degree or more: Black stripes on the shoulder to the sleeves, black stripes outlined at the bottom of the clothes and black stripes on both sides of the pants.
